What an incredible evening of fun! I went to the European premiere of A Liar’s Autobiography in London with the No. 1 Monty Python fan John Wood .

But before we arrived at the premiere, we decided to take a small detour to the Angel Inn in Highgate in honour of Graham Chapman. It is a very quaint pub in a pleasant part of London.

After we spent a few moments in that special pub, we headed on down to Leicester Square to attend the premiere.

It was an amazing night, although it was pretty chilly out, my attention was on the event entirely.  And of course, I walked on the red carpet.  πŸ˜›

There were many fans and people arriving as the evening went on and as the clock ticked closer to 9:30pm when the movie would actually be screening.

They had actors dressed up as famous Graham Chapman parts walking up and down the red carpet entertaining the fans.  Quite funny!

Here we can see the three directors of the film, Ben Timlett, Bill Jones and Jeff Simpson all being interviewed.

More people started to arrive, including the lovely Carol Cleveland!

Those guys must’ve been freezing!  Finally, Michael Palin and Terry Jones arrived as well!

I was so thrilled to finally see these amazing Pythons in person!

We all then went inside to where the movie was going to screen, and the inside was spectacular!  It was such a fun and exciting night and I believe everyone had as wonderful a time as I did!  Also, the seat came with a bar of chocolate and a bottle of Icelandic Glacial water!  πŸ˜›

Wow!  It was so incredible and such a treat for my stay in England.  I hope you enjoyed this post and please look for my next one all about the after-party!

Best,

Mariah
